Life on the line
Client: BBC Three | 2016 | Snapchat documentary
When BBC Three went online we were tasked (my digital guerilla's team) with helping them to explore different forms of digital storytelling. I had been talking to them about a horror movie I had seen on Snapchat that was broken down into 4 seconds chunks but uploaded in longer connected pieces.
To fit in with the BBC Three brand we conceived a series called Life on the line, that looked at young people doing exactly that through daring activities. We produced three pilot episodes looking at a mountain climber, a skydiver and a potholer.
All were created using existing footage with an interview conducted over the phone and graphics added to fit the style of the platform.
